Most Popular Endangered Animals

We know that these are the species of animals those are under the threat and verge of extinction. Some of them are kept under special protection from predators and other factors and conserved for future times. Their fast disappearance and their need for survival is made sure by several agencies and organizations like the WWF, and through National Parks and wildlife sanctuaries that provide them their suitable habitat.

The reason for their sudden depletion ranges from natural to human interference. The conversion of land from forests, and the climatic changes, and not to forget the added curse of pollution and population laying heavily upon the wildlife in turn. This has made things only worse. Following are some most popular endangered animals:

(1) Loggerhead Turtles: They are found in the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean and are very popular as delicious seafood. This was the major reason behind their decline and the increased human activities in the beaches affected in their breeding, also.

(2) The Giant Panda: The cute and the chubby pandas are the most popular amongst the endangered ones. They are mostly nestled in the Chinese regions and feed on bamboos. They are one of the most visited amongst the zoo animals.

(3) Jackass Penguins: As funny they name, they are the last of the African penguins. They are found in the Namibia and the neighbouring countries and are affected with the constant sea activities and fishing.

(4) The Blue Whale: These creatures are the ‘World’s Largest Mammals’, and these giants might be ruling in the ocean waters, but they are also very valuable prey of the humans and hunted in the waters illegally and every year, there is a decline in their population as a result.
